  • What are your opening hours in the summer ?
We are open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
  • Do we need to pre-purchase an admission ticket or reserve to visit the farm ?
No reservation is needed. Our activities are spread out on 30 acres of land so there is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the farm! You just need to meet us at the admission booth upon arrival to purchase your access ticket and receive all the information required for your farm visit.
  • How much does the admission cost ?
The admission rate for an adult is $10, a child (3 to 12 yr. old) is $5 and a toddler (2yr. and under) is free. The admission rate includes the self-guided tour, access to the 4km nature trail network, access to the main observation area as well as the picnic and playground areas.
  • Can we walk alpacas ?
We do not offer walks with alpacas however we propose a self-guided circuit of the farm so you can get up close with them in the most respectful and natural way possible. The walking circuit follows our pasture fences where you will have the chance to see them up close and learn all there is to know about these wonderful animals. All this in one of the most picturesque setting of the region!
  • How much time should we plan for the farm visit ?
We recommend planning at least 30 to 45 minutes up to a maximum of 2 to 3 hours should you wish to picnic on-site and fully enjoy the interpretive nature trail network.
  • Can we visit the farm with our dog ?
Unfortunately, dogs (or any other domestic animals) are not allowed on the farm.
  • Is it possible to picnic on-site ?
Absolutely! Many picnic tables with umbrellas are available onsite. Your admission ticket gives you access to the two main picnic areas. The first one with a panoramic view of the female pastures and surrounding mountains and the other one near our watchtower, overlooking the marsh.
  • Do you have a restaurant or bistro on-site?
We do not provide any food service on-site so plan on bringing your own picnic. Located only 10 minutes away, Sutton’s village offers plenty of options thanks to friendly local groceries and restaurants offering take-out meals.
  • Are the trails kid-friendly and stroller-friendly ?
Absolutely! Kids of all age can walk the trails as they were designed with them in mind! For strollers, we highly recommend a « jogger » style stroller with larger all-terrain wheels so you can enjoy the trail network in its entirety.
  • Is it possible to visit the farm with someone with reduced mobility ?
Yes! Certain sections of the farm are better adapted to a person with reduced mobility and will still allow them to see alpacas and enjoy the site. As « reduced mobility » is a term that covers many realities, we will be able to better advise you upon arrival at the farm so that your visit is best suited to your specific needs.
